A completion button is useful because it tells you a job is ready to review. It should not automatically decide that the task was finished properly or that a reward has been earned.
Parent Quest adds a quick parent check between those two steps. You can review the chore, approve it when you are satisfied and keep the outcome consistent with the rules in your own home.
That keeps the child involved without handing over the decision that affects progress or rewards. Children can show that they believe the work is finished, while the parent still decides whether the chore meets the expectation that was originally set.
