Rewards for Completed Chores

Recognise completed chores with progress towards a reward, but only after you have checked the work yourself.

Link rewards to chores you have reviewed

A tick on a screen should not be the final word. Children can mark a chore as finished, then the parent can look at what was done before deciding whether it counts.

That extra check keeps expectations clear and avoids arguments about unfinished jobs earning the same progress as properly completed ones. Approved chores can then contribute to the child’s reward goal.

Reaching that goal does not make Vanta Labs responsible for the reward itself. The parent chooses what the child is working towards and provides it according to the family’s own agreement, keeping both the approval and reward decision with the adult.

A completed chore still needs approval. The parent reviews submitted chores before confirming any associated reward progress.

Quick questions
