Guardian gives trusted adults a private Family Map for that occasional check, alongside battery and last-update information that can help explain what the connected child phone has most recently reported.
For ordinary journeys, Home and School alerts can handle many routine updates so parents do not need to keep opening the map. Recent location context can also help make sense of what the phone has reported when circumstances change. Guardian does not promise exact or continuous location: GPS, connectivity, permissions, buildings, battery conditions and operating-system restrictions can affect updates. The app is intended to provide useful family context while leaving room for trust, independence and direct communication.
