Practical tools for everyday family routines
A family safety app is most useful when it provides the right context at the right time. Guardian combines a private Family Map with Home and School alerts, battery and last-update information, recent location context and SOS. These features can support familiar routines such as school journeys, pickups and changes of plan while keeping family information within a parent-managed account.
Adult location sharing is optional, so parents do not have to share their own position simply because they use Guardian with a connected child phone. The Family Map should also be understood as phone-location context rather than proof of somebody’s exact physical position. GPS, signal, permissions, buildings, battery conditions and background restrictions can affect reporting. Guardian can support family safety routines, but it cannot guarantee safety and it is not an emergency service.
