Location sharing that remains optional for adults
Authorised child-device information can give parents practical context through the Family Map, device status and familiar Home or School alerts. The goal is useful coordination rather than compulsory two-way tracking between adults.
Parents can therefore choose different sharing boundaries for children and adults. What matters is that everyone involved understands how the family has chosen to use the app and who has access to the available information.
Location shown from a phone can still be affected by GPS conditions, connectivity, permissions and battery settings. Guardian does not provide guaranteed or perfectly accurate tracking and is not an emergency service.
