Home and School alerts can provide familiar milestones, while the Family Map and device information are available when either trusted parent needs additional context from the connected child phone.
Access to child-device information does not require the adults to share their own positions with each other. Adult location sharing remains optional, allowing the family to keep child coordination separate from adult tracking.
The adults involved should agree how Guardian will be used and review access when circumstances change. Phone location and notifications can also be delayed or inaccurate, so Guardian should not be treated as an emergency service or a source of perfect location proof.
