Give another trusted parent access to the same family
A trusted adult with family access can use the authorised child-device information available through Guardian, including relevant map context and family alerts, instead of relying on another parent to relay every update.
Giving somebody access should still be a deliberate family decision. Only people who are genuinely trusted should be included, and access should be reviewed if caregiving arrangements or family circumstances change.
Adding another trusted adult does not require either adult to share their own location. Adult sharing remains optional, while child-device location can still be affected by normal phone and GPS limitations. Guardian is not an emergency service.
