Useful school-run updates, without watching the map
That update can mark the beginning of the journey away from School without requiring the parent to watch every movement on the Family Map.
Leaving the safe zone does not mean the child has reached Home, a pickup point or another destination. GPS, signal and phone settings can also affect when the boundary crossing is reported.
Parents can use a later Home arrival alert as another familiar milestone and open the Family Map, battery status or last-update information when the journey needs a closer check.
