A calmer way to check a child’s latest location
The aim is not to encourage all-day map watching. Parents can use Home and School alerts for familiar milestones and open the Family Map when an unexpected delay, changed plan or missing update makes a closer check useful.
Phone location has practical limits. Buildings, weak signal, permissions, battery-saving behaviour and operating-system restrictions can all affect background reporting, so Guardian cannot promise perfect accuracy or uninterrupted tracking.
The connected child device also has access to Guardian’s SOS feature for contacting trusted adults. That adds another family communication route, but Guardian is not an emergency service and cannot replace direct emergency contact when someone may be in danger.
