A useful family response plan should not depend on one notification. Parents can decide in advance which adults are likely to respond, how they will communicate with each other and what circumstances require action outside Guardian.
Guardian cannot guarantee delivery of an SOS notification or perfect phone location. It is not an emergency service and does not replace direct contact with emergency services when somebody may be in immediate danger.
