Parents can explain clearly what the button is for and what it is not for. A child should know which adults may respond, what to do if nobody responds and when the situation requires direct emergency help instead.
Connectivity, permissions, battery conditions and other phone restrictions can affect alert delivery and location reporting. Guardian cannot guarantee an SOS notification and is not an emergency service.
